blogging experience.

I really like the blogging experience and I must to say that this was my first time doing something like this.
Thanks to this written communication I had been able to learn and know more about my classmates. Furthermore thanks to this I can communicate what I want to say or what I think about a specific topic, such as a complicated topic like education or Chilean behavior to one that is easier like your favourite movie or cartoon.
What I really like about this, is that you can make comments about what your classmates said and all the way around too. I find out that some of my classmates think the same as me in some topics, such as when we had had to write about education. I discovered that many of my classmates like the same movie as me or the same song.
I think that if it would not be for the blog I could not be able to find out all this things, because I do not talk with all my classmates, but trough the blog I could read what all those who I do not really know, feel and think.
I must to say that sometimes it was really hard for me to write the blog, because one thing that it is really complicated for me is witting. I do not why but I misplace or untidy the writing organization, I mean I used period or commas were I do not have to do it or I do not put it. For this reason I think that sometimes what I wanted to say it was not understood, because the main idea of my post was not clear.
The positive side of this is that how I had to do a post weekly I had had the chance to improve (a little) my writing.
To zip up this, I must to say that follow the blog and sharing my thoughts, believes and experiences it has been a great experience.

my favourite anime character!!

well first of all i love Japanese animation and all the characters!!!

From all the anime girls, i think the one i like the most is emy, sailor mercury from sailor moon.

i recall that when i was little i used to played with my classmates and cousin to be sailor scouts, and i always performance as sailor mercury. also once i got the same haircut as her.

i like emy or amy because she is honest, friendly, she is always protecting her beloved ones and really smart.

when i was little i tried to imitate her.

blog 10: learning English

mmm... first of all i decided to study English, because i do really like languages.

nowadays English language is a really important subject, because this language has the characteristic of being universal.

what aspect of learning English do i find most difficult?

for me it is really hard to write correctly, because i am not very organized, sometimes i miss the period and comas. Also sometimes i had some many ideas about the topic that i put it all together or i tend to explain the idea and then i repeat all over again.

what am i doing to improve this?

i try to write in the blog more often. pay attention about what i wrote and read about it.

can you give me an advise to improve this?

blog 11: A place you like to visit in Chile

i think our country is really beautiful, because if we think about it we have many touristic and gorgeous landscape.

it is a shame that we do not know about all those places, because it is really common that we choose to travel abroad instead of know our country.

what place i would like to visit?

i would like to do a tour for all the country, from the I to the XV region, go to all the places and learn about the different traditions from all the region. try all the typical dishes and share with the people.

my house is one of the kind.

my house is next to my grandparent's house, is not the same house but the two houses are in the same place.

my house is located near the Town centre.

we have 2 rooms (my parents room and i share my room with my sister), 1 bathroom , living, dining room and a large garden.

my bedroom is bigger than my parent's bedroom, i think it is because my sister and i share the room, but we have our own spaces in it.

blog 13: lucky number

i had never think about this topic.

I do not know which is my lucky number, but when i have to choose a number for a play or bingo i always choose 18, i think it is because i was born on the 18 th.

i am not a superstitious person, but i have to admit that everyday i read my horoscope, to know what is suppose to happen to Libras people, but i do not think that all what is written is real, because sometimes nothing happens.

think that if you think positive you will have lucky, because positive thought attract positive things.

blog 14: household chores

i do not bother to do some household chores to help to my mother, but one thing i really hate to do is to vacuumed, i do not know why,but i do really hate it.

a long time ago my sister and i make a deal about the household chores . in special when we have to clean our bedroom.

i would be the one who has to clean the furniture of our bedroom and wash the dishes, and she would be the one who has to vacuumed the carpet of our bedroom and the living room.

MoTiVaTiOn!

It is a simple word that in the practice of theaching has a huge meaning. how important is motivate and help our students is something that we already know,because three years ago we were students and we now how important were those teachers who encourage us to do our best.

One of the major responsibilities that a teacher has is to assure that their students do not lose the sparkle of their eyes and the friendly smile from their face, well this is about what i want to talk about in my reflective essay.

how to motivate somebody else it is a hard work, because not all the people has the patience and the strength to fight against those who are not interested in anything.

it is for that reason that nowadays we have many teacher, here in Chile and around the world, who do not even care what their students are doing in the classroom, the only thing they want it is go trough the material and then go home, but what we really need is dedicated teachers who has the aims to help their student to achieve their goals, to help them to develop their critical thinking.

A teacher have to support their student ideas and don let them shut up their voice.

"motivation" is something we need, to make our student interested in the subject, but more important it is to make them interested to learn about everything.

what i would try in the future.... i do not have it clear, now, but the only think i know is that i would try to share with them something that really like, that is ENGLISH and try to makes them interested in the topic and love it as i do.

well this how is going to be.

well it will be more logical, because right now is a bunch of ideas and thoughts

when i watched the video in class was like OMG!! he talk so fast!!!, but that does not mean that i could not understand him.

I like how easy he link the topic with life, i mean how he explain it with typical situations and jokes, such as family anecdotes.

i think he is a pretty good orator.

mmm... About what he was talking, i agree with him in some points. Like when he said that the education is a common topic of discussion for all of us, and it is really important because it makes the future that we can achieve. in fact this is true, all of us feel with the right to talk about this topic, but no one do something to make it better.

I think education is a key that can open many doors, such as success and happiness. a person who is educated is able to get whatever she/he want.

When he talk about how the school are killing creativity, i totally agree with that, because some school do not let the kids to express their ideas or opinion.

I think that develop the imagination and creativity helps the kid, because he would be able to handle with the life's difficulties, i mean he would be able to think in how to resolve a problem without feeling anxious or stressed. Also this would help them to try to do, create new things to develop the knowledge that we have now and to have a better world for all of us.

We should give more value to the subject that develop this, such as art, dance etc... because this help people to be more open-minded and be able to create and achieve new things.

• About Chilean school, we should recognize that we are really narrow-minded and we do not accept new things, if somebody wants to study art, drama or dance we have prejudice about them, we call them lazies, gays etc...
• If somebody thinks different as us, we call them crazy or problematic
• Some schools do not let the kids to develop the imagination and creativity, because they do not want or care to listen what they want to say and suggest.

it is like the example that one teacher gave us when we were in university's first grade.

ex: a teacher do not let a kid to paint her whale with a pink pencil, because all the whale are blue. but what is the problem if she want to do it in that color, if she image that whale in her mind with that color, why do not let her express?, what is wrong with that?

The truth is that i do not have any reading tactics.
When is a text from the university i use to underline the main ideas, but when is not i do not.
My favorites books are about romantic stories, science fiction, magic, mystery, etc.
i can not chose one favorite book, because there are so many that I like. Such as: Harry potter (all of them), mujeres de los ojos grandes, paradise, etc.
i think that reading is a good way to learn, about everything. Also is a mode to escape of the reality and let you image new world.

today we will talk about dream vacation!!

MM!!! when I think about where do you want to spend a lovely time, i can not stop to think in Europe.

i would like to go to Europe and make a tour over all the countries, visit the old monuments and go to Paris and see the Torre Eiffel with my own eyes.

i think this continent is one of the most romantic, because in those countries you can find the most beautiful monuments and also the most interesting story, such as Greek's people, who use to live in Greece.

i think that victory city's website
was really interesting, i really enjoy watching some pictures about how the city will be.
or how many people will be there and how he intend to help the environment.
i read the purpose of the city and i love it.
in special this part

i hope this will be accomplish, because it is really hard to change people's believes
maybe some people would be against the change, but this city has many good points that would be interesting to think about.
What i think about the future?
I do not know, i have not think about it.
Maybe Santiago will be like the city in some movies with technology and robots everywhere. It would be really interesting to have a city such as victory city.

**2012**/ *The end of the world*

I heard that in the maya's calender said that in 2012 it will be the end of the world!!!
Whoooaa!! scary!, But if we remember, the end of world was suppose to happened in 2000 and nothing happend.
I think that all this are just superstition, but the real thing is that our world need us. We need to take care of our environment, because right now it is really damaged.
I do not want to think about the end of the world, because i do not want to die so beautiful and young, jajajaj XD. Maybe it is not the end, but a change.
Lets be positive and think about what we can do to make our world better.

living alone

I think that living alone is a huge step to get your Independence, but also it has a lot of responsibilities with it.
it has good and bad points, but it is the best way to grow up.
good things about living alone:

• *you have your own place
• *you do not have to ask permission to your parents to do something or to go out.
• * you do not have anyone to tell you what to do
• *you can do whatever you want to do, such as go out, invite some friends to your place, etc.

on the another hand, the bad things are:

• you would miss to live with your family, sometimes you would need some noise, to do not feel lonely.
• nobody is going to help you, so you have to do all by yourself, such as make your bed, the dinner (even if you are death tired, you have to do it)
• you have to be responsible of your place, you have to pay the bills on time, clean you place, because nobody is going to do it for you.

If you think about it living alone it is not an easy decision, because when you choose live by yourself, you have to be acknowledge that this comes with a lot of responsibilities that you have to take.

my favourite movie

the best movie, that always make me cry is

Mouling Rouge directed by Baz Luhrmann.

i just love it.

i love the story and also the casting, because in this movie act two of my favourite actors: Nicole Kidman and Ewan Mcgregor.

the story is about a poet who moves to Paris in the summer of 1899. there he meet with a group of bohemian actors who are trying to create the perfect perfomance about truth, beauty, freedoom an over all about love. (that was the thougth of bohemian) then they go to the mouling rouge ( a famous lavish nightclub) to convince to zidle the owner of the mouling rouge and satinthe most beautiful courtesan, so they dressed up cristian as a duke, because zidle fixes an appointment between an evil Duke and Satine, but satine confuse cristian with the duke. cristian finally meet with satin and then they fall in love. (so romantic)

then satin found out that cristian is just a poet and part of the bohemian group and not the duke Zidler convinces the Duke to invest in the bohemian's play. with the time satine and cristian must keep their love as a secret, because the duke believes that satine loves him. When the Duke finds out about their secret affair, he gives satine an ultimatum: she must either do the play his way and go with him at the end of the play, or he will have cristian killed. satine decides to save cristian and goes on with the show then cristian dicided to confrot satine. When he does, satine decides to leave the duke and go with cristian. then she suffers an respiratory attack and dies of her condition behind the curtains (she was sick, she has tuberculosis). cristian was really sad and in pain but a year later, he decide to writes their story.

I have seen the BBC page and I think that is very interesting bacause sp/p there we can find a lot of materials and (website) sites p that we can use for ww stady sp and learn much more (about )of english. Besides we can practic sp with some quizes and mede sp test. That ww kind of sites are (a) good (help to)at ww improve our english grammar, reading, litening sp and writen f/p I think that it has been a great help for me because now I know where I can look for something that I need and honestly I recommend BBC site for all of you future teachers...

She is such a good writter!

Dear Gral Eduardo G. Gordon

I am writing to express my strong disapproval concerning the behavior of one of your subordinate against the people who were protesting in la Alameda street the last Friday. although your service usually is very good, the other day i saw one of your subordinate who was ill-treating a young lady just because she was taking part in the protest. this action is really low,because all of them were protecting their believes and ideals with the goal of change this world and make it a better place for all of us. it seem that we have to make them remember that all men and women has the right to defend his or her rights and one of the objectives of police it's to protect and support human rights. for that reason that officer's behavior was really inadequate and I am ashamed of it.

Maybe you could pay more attention in the real crimes, I mean, robberies, burglars, etc. I think we need more security in that aspects. A lot of people have suffered this kind of violence... but.. where is the police when we really need them ?

I think that our police must be conscious of their acts, less rushed in their decisions and not abuse their power as much!

I insist that you should better give this matter your urgent attention, because we need a highly-trained police officer who defend and worry about us.

what do i do on Easter holiday?

mmmmhhh...first of all, we have to remember that Easter holiday is not just eat chocolate and have a long weekend.

the real meaning of this date is celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus, who gave his life for the forgiveness of human being sin.

this date has the object of make us share a moment of reflexion and meditation.we have to reflex and think about what he did for us, death in the cross for the forgiveness of our sin and what we do for the fellow man, because the message that Jesus gave us is that we have to love one's neighbor.

well this year i did not do anything in special, I just ate a lot of chocolate and spent time with my family.

Do you know why we eat chocolate in these holiday? and why we said that the Easter rabbit bringing to us?.

One of the thing i don`t like about our society (chilean's society) is that all of us are so gossip, i don't know why, but we enjoy talking about others issues. the bad news or the roumors about the other person, such as a bad love relationship is something delicious for us.

today i visited this webpage, I really like it because I was able to learnt some phonetics tips and also i was listening the correct pronunciation of the vowels.

one thing i learnt and that i found out courious was that the vowel it's really common and frequent in english speakers, in fact the most important sound in english, that has it her own name schwa.

i think this is a great help for us, because we have the phonetic class and this is going to be a good training and to complemente the class .

other thing i like from the BBC webpage it was the quizz section, because that let me test my skills and improve myself.

i think this kind of pages are good for us (student), because it is an interactive way to learn and also we received new information that could it be useful for our class.

Hello everybody!!!

I would like to start my blog with this Japanese word "nankurunaisa" the meaning of this word is something like: everything is going to be alright.
I like it because it make me feel and think more positive about the things around me, also because is it from one of my favourite anime series jajajaja XD
yes, ladies and gentleman I'm a big fan of Japanese animation :) .
Well,to let you know more about myself. I can say the things i like to do, such as spend time with my friends also called inseparables. they are like sisters to me, we help, listen and support each other in the good and bad moments.
